When I was just 10 years old, my grandma handed me my first camera, little knowing she was setting me on a path that would define the rest of my life. Now, after more than 34 years behind the lens, photography has taken me to places I’d never dreamed of and opened doors to unimaginable opportunities. Holding an art degree from the University of Michigan, I’ve learned that sometimes all it takes is the courage to open the door, push the shutter, and ask if I can take a photo. Photography isn’t just for professionals—it’s a gift of enjoyment and therapy, a way to make a living, and it holds countless benefits that are hard to imagine. I have had the pleasure to teach at countless institutions including the likes of Adorama Learning Center, NYU, U of M, and have shared the gift of photography with students from over 70 different countries and counting. And I look forward to sharing it with you. Welcome to the adventure!
